You’ll be radiant and rejuvenated after just one session, and more sustained improvement is possible when you add regular facial rejuvenation acupuncture to your beauty routine. Please be sure to tell Dr. Karin about any other cosmetic procedures you have had recently or plan to have, such as Botox or fillers, so she can formulate a custom care plan that is right for you.
What can you expect during an appointment?
Dr. Karin will begin by discussing your specific skin concerns and goals. After confirming your treatment plan and answering any questions you have, you’ll change into a comfortable robe that provides access to your neck and chest for treatment. Your session will include:
Holistic acupuncture. The session begins with a holistic acupuncture treatment to boost your overall well-being.
Facial rejuvenation acupuncture. Dr. Karin will place very fine needles into specific points on the face, head, and neck to increase blood flow, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and address your areas of concern.
Red light therapy. Red light therapy increases collagen production and promotes cellular regeneration. You can expect to relax with facial needles in place under the red light for 20 minutes.
Facial massage and gua sha. Dr. Karin will finish your session with facial massage and gua sha. These techniques improve blood flow to the facial muscles, further reducing fine lines, enhancing facial tone, and smoothing the skin.
How much does it cost?
Facial rejuvenation acupuncture sessions are $150 each and are not covered by insurance. Each session includes red light therapy, a holistic acupuncture treatment, facial massage, and gua sha.
